Seller's descriptionA 1934 Riley 12/ 6 Lynx. The car is in excellent condition mechanically and structurally. It has had its original 12HP six cylinder engine replaced by the much better 12/ 4 engine. It has the pre-selector gearbox and drives very well indeed, with plenty of power and fast, smooth gearchanges. The steering is precise and the brakes work well. The car comes with a large box file of invoices with much work being carried out by Blue Diamond. The leather upholstery is in very good condition as are the carpets. The body frame is very solid and the panels are all straight and true. The hood is in very good condition but there are no side screens. The chromework is very good, the paint is good but not perfect. Wheels and tyres also in good condition. I have only owned the car for two years. Within three months of ownership I was seriously ill in hospital and have hardly used the car since, this is the only reason for selling it.
