Description
This UK supplied Triumph TR4A IRS (EGM 562C) was first registered on the 17th September 1965. An early production model with Stromberg carburettors, overdrive and the desirable original Surrey top. It was subject to a major restoration between August 2010 and February 2012. The rebuild included a full body-off restoration, the chassis was stripped and repainted, the interior completely re-trimmed and the brightwork replaced, a complete engine re-build along with the gearbox and drivetrain. The results were stunning. Previously the car had just two lady owners, the first between September 1965 and July 1983 and the second between July 1983 and August 2010 and the third owner between August 2010 and September 2016 when I purchased the car. MOT certificates date back to 1983 when the mileage was just 30, 306 and 37, 373 when I purchased the car and the present day mileage of 43, 050. It has an extensive history file and an BMIHT certificate; it has been regularly maintained by a classic car specialist and kept in a climate controlled garage in my ownership with summer driving only.
