1977 Triumph Dolomite 1850HL.
Here we have my Dolomite for sale, owned by me for seven years, purchased in Northern Ireland, hence the number plate, (driven from Ireland via ferry to Scotland and then to North Lincolnshire, one of those journeys that stay with you for all the right reasons),
Anyway, I used it as was for months making a list of the things I wanted to do, the result was in early 2020 one thing led to another which eventually ended up with the car being stripped, the underneath under seal and paint stripped off, repairs that had previously been carried out were redone, underneath repainted in epoxy paint and undersealed, suspension was stripped painted and reassembled, the engine was left alone as in my opinion had proved itself reliable, Overdrive works,
The paintwork when purchased was crazed, a result of too much etc, I undertook stripping and repainting of the car, Covid hit, the result was the bonnet and boot did not get stripped and painted and remains like that to this day,
From that point on (Covid) the car has had very little use and is garaged, it has developed a slight water leak from the water pump, it would also benefit from tracking,
So, what we have is (in my Opinion) a solid and presentable, Dolomite which runs well has an excellent interior, you may notice the air filter is not original and a few other things I have the original and the front bumper overriders,
It is a very low owner car I believe I am the 3rd, there are some manuals and old mots from Ireland and the supplying garage from new,
It needs an new owner to care for it and take it to the next level,
