Description
Sunbeam S7 deluxe . First registered in June 1955 with a low mileage and low number of previous owners. The motorcycle is in excellent unrestored condition with a great patina and all correct matching numbers as recorded on the original buff log book. This is backed up by the dating certificate utilising the original factory records. Old manuals books and paperwork.
Recommission work was entrusted to a well respected marque specialist with a focus on the original spec and function of mechanical elements but leaving all body work in it's original state in mist green paint. This work has been fully detailed in an accompanying multi page report . For example works included the fitting of a new concentric Amal carb , however the original carb has been retained for later refitment should it be desired. The focus has been strictly to maintain originality rather than lose this through restoration.
Although this motorcycle is configured as per it's original factory solo spec I do also have ( available by separate negotiation ) a correct and complete sidecar geared rear drive unit to fit if desired for sidecar use which has also been serviced by the same marque specialist . It is therefore ready to fit.
In addition I also have available (again by separate negotiation ) an original 1950's Swallow jet 80 sidecar with all steel bodywork, complete original interior trim plus the fitment of the factory optional braked wheel, together with all the correct Sunbeam S7 fittings.
Please note that this sidecar / fittings and the associated sunbeam s/ c rear drive unit are available but only by separate negotiation if required as this listing is solely for the solo S7 motorcycle. Therefore please see the associated photo of my S7 motorcycle with the jet 80 sidecar for information purposes only.
I'm happy to provide further details as required.
