Description
Citroën 2CV Type A 1951 – Original bodywork and chassis – Professional restoration
For sale: Citroën 2CV Type A from 1951.
Genuine Type A, with original bodywork and chassis. Known history, vehicle in the family since 1957
The car was professionally restored about ten years ago, including bodywork, paintwork and mechanics (new floor pan, carburettor replaced, ignition and wiring harness redone, new brakes, steering rack changed, gearbox fork also replaced, etc.). It runs perfectly, sound base.
The paintwork is in the original grey.
30, 500 km on the clock.
I prefer to be completely transparent about this car's specification: it is not 100% original:
engine 425 cc, I don't have the original 375 cc;
original webbing seats absent; same applies
flat-rim wheels...
With the restoration now dating back approximately 10 years, the paintwork shows some localised crazing.
The car will be sold with a collection of original parts and accessories.
This 2CV will suit an enthusiast primarily seeking a genuine 1951 Type A, with its original bodywork and chassis, restored and usable, without necessarily looking for a concours example, to be progressively completed (which was my aim but which I simply don't have time to achieve). Reliable and documented history
Price: €17, 500 open to reasonable negotiation only in front of the vehicle. Complete file with invoices available to view on site.
Contact by telephone only. No response to emails, SMS or messages.

Thank you to genuinely interested parties for contacting me. Tyre-kickers, dealers and frivolous offers please refrain.
