Description
This lovely Greeves Challenger MX2 was fully restored in 2007 and only raced a couple of times. Since then it has been stored in a dry garage.
Frame number 24MX722 built in 1965.
The bike is fitted with a Griffon clutch and Suzuki RM250 electronic ignition.
It comes complete with a comprehensive set of spares including two fuel tanks, a spare gearbox, gearbox internals, sprockets, original ignition parts etc. together with two folders of information including parts books, manuals and service notes.
The bike fired up and can be seen running on 18 year old 4 star petrol with Castorene R40 Racing Oil giving it a lovely aroma! but suggest a light recommissioning to get the most out of the bike.
It’s now time for someone else to enjoy the bike either as a run around, entering the Greeves Championship or just to admire as part of a collection.
