Owned by myself since 2023, paid in excess of £4k, have since spent £3. 5k on maintenance and servicing etc. Have a full service history log from original purchase to date.
Bodyshell was fully restored by the MX5Restorer company in 2017, with over £2700 spent. In 2026 I had a new clutch, cambelt, alternator, battery, and all ancillary drive belts replaced. It had had a new lambda sensor and passes mot emissions easily. The hood is in perfect condition, with a glass rear window. It had four matching Yokohama tyres from 2024, with plenty of tread on them. I’ve done 12000 miles with absolute reliability, starts on the button and runs perfectly. It’s never let me down!
Faults. The passenger window has a manual winder, which works fine. I never use the window so didn’t replace. The drivers seat bolster shows wear, and has a couple of wear marks. There’s windscreen has a very small chip out of the drivers sight line.
Looking for a quick sale as I wish to buy a local MX5 mk3, hence the low asking price. Any test welcome, car is taxed and insured, to test drive will require proof of insurance. Payment is via cash on collection or via bank transfer only.

This is a rust free shell, with a sound set of mechanical parts, fully maintained. These engines do 250, 000 miles before needing rebuilding, so don’t let the mileage put you off. I’ve spent a great deal of money with the intention of keeping the car, but made the foolish mistake of taking my sons mk3 for a blast and falling in love with the car!
