Description
Fiat 508 Balilla 4-speed, 2-door, professionally restored approximately 10 years ago, and I am the third owner.
The car has been completely stripped down and subjected to a thorough restoration, with the chassis and bodywork fully shot-blasted and subsequently rebuilt. All the work is documented by an extensive photographic collection that accompanies the car.
It presents in the classic maroon livery with black wings. The interior is in excellent condition and executed in keeping with the originality of the model.
The car runs perfectly. The fuel tank has been internally treated with Tankerite and the braking system uses silicone fluid, particularly suited to a car intended for occasional use.
Of particular interest are the original registration document and the black number plates from the 1970s, retained on the car.
The restoration was carried out with the aim of maintaining the car's original characteristics as much as possible. Only the decorative striping of the bodywork remains to be completed.
The Balilla is not currently insured, has no valid MOT and is not registered with a historic vehicle register.
