Description
Condition and Mechanics:
- Engine: Original 344. 8 cu in (5. 6L) Straight-8 OHV engine. Starts cleanly, idles smoothly, and holds good oil pressure.
Transmission: 3-speed manual synchronized (Synchromesh) gearbox shifting as it should.
- Electricals: Upgraded with a modern alternator (Iskra unit) to keep the 6/ 12V system reliable for regular running, dual headlights, and horns.
Brakes & Steering: Mechanical drum brakes on all four wheels. Operates properly for a 1930s heavy car.
- Body & Exterior: Two-tone dark blue and black paintwork in very good shape with solid gloss. Straight panels, no bubbling or visible rot. Chrome on the grille shell, bumpers, lights, and mascot shows well with minimal age patina.
- Interior: The cabin has been retrimmed in gray cloth, which remains clean and tidy. The dashboard preserves the original wood-effect trim and vintage gauges.
Rare Victoria Coupé body style: far more usable and comfortable than a standard two-seater business coupé, offering true 5-passenger accommodation within a stylish closed body.
The period road presence is incredible, featuring dual side-mounted spare tires with mirrors, wide whitewalls on pale yellow wire wheels, twin trumpet horns, auxiliary driving lamps, and the classic folding rear luggage rack.
The modern alternator conversion makes it a practical, usable pre-war car for rallies and club runs rather than a static garage ornament.
