BMW E39 525i Sport Touring Automatic, a great example of an increasingly sought-after classic BMW estate. 123, 000 miles with plenty of service history and invoices. The private registration currently fitted is included with the car. HPI clear. ULEZ compliant.
A lot of important preventative maintenance and refurbishment has already been carried out by the previous owner. This includes recent servicing, replacement rear suspension air bags, front and rear suspension arms, wheel alignment, new boot struts, alternator and valve cover. The cooling system has also had extensive work including radiator, new hoses, thermostat, expansion/ header tank and cap. It has also had new brake discs and pads not long ago, renewed headlights, and DSC/ ABS ECU repairs. Gearbox is silky smooth.
Specification includes leather seats, electric windows all round, electrically adjustable mirrors, parking sensors and an upgraded Android head unit. The air conditioning is also nice and cold.
For a 23-year-old E39 it is in great overall condition. There is some rust beginning on the sills, worst of it on drivers side but the other areas and underside are very clean for the age.
