Description

This is a supercharged fast-road TR6 that has taken a lot of time and money to get right. With the supercharger and 5-speed gearbox, it is seriously quick but also very easy to drive.

Specification

• Moss Motors Eaton M62 supercharger kit with high-boost pulley
• Rebuilt engine with Stage 3 head, Kent TH12-6 cam, lightened flywheel, JE forged pistons, Arrow steel crank and steel conrods
• Aluminium radiator, electric fan and oil cooler
• Toyota Supra 5-speed gearbox with HVDA conversion kit
• Uprated and lowered suspension, with Revington adjustable telescopic rear dampers
• Racetorations AP Racing brakes
• 16 × 7 Panasport alloy wheels
• Ridgard RS1 bucket seats, 3-point harnesses, and Moto-Lita steering wheel
• Revington roll-over bar and firewall
• Various other performance, chassis and drivetrain upgrades

Condition

The car has been serviced regularly. The radiator was replaced last year and the water pump refurbished this year. It has a fresh MOT until 15 September 2027.

This is a good-looking driver's car rather than a concours example. There are some stone chips, the rear bumper could do with re-chroming and there is a small area of corrosion around one headlamp.

I've owned the car since 2009 and it was fully restored in 2013 by Classic Marks. The car has done around 6, 000 miles since the restoration.

The body-off restoration included stripping and powder coating the chassis, and repainting the body in Ferrari Yellow with painted racing stripes. The suspension and running gear were refurbished, and the brake lines and fuel pipes renewed.

The engine was designed and built specifically for supercharging. It is an all-steel engine and has been bored out and balanced as part of the rebuild.

Since the initial restoration, the car has continued to be developed and refined by TR specialists including Enginuity and TR Enterprises, with significant further work to the engine and suspension.

In total, the restoration and subsequent work probably cost around £40, 000. I have invoices, receipts and photographs documenting the work.

I've loved owning the car, but with a young child I've decided it's time to pass it on to a new owner.

I am looking for £31, 500 and will consider offers. If you are serious about the car, please get in touch. I'm very happy to answer any questions and provide further information about the car and its history.
