This classic Jaguar offers lots of potential, the car has been stripped down for restoration, with all parts present. Now painted red, but originally Old English White and supplied new in Belgium, the car then spent time in France before coming to Italy, where it is presently located close to Brescia. The bodyshell is very solid with little signs of corrosion. Please refer to the photographs for more detail.
Excitingly, this rare Jaguar V12 Coupe restoration Project is now offered for sale.
The XJ Coupé was based on the short wheelbase version of the XJ and offered in 4. 2 and 5. 3 engine sizes known as either the Sovereign from Jaguar or the Double Six from Daimler. Only 1, 800 were ever made by the factory in total and a lesser number of LHD V12’s.
