A Jaguar XJ-C Cabriolet did not exist in standard production, but the British firms Lynx and Avon-Stevens made this dream come true.
The Jaguar XJ-C 4. 2-litre offered here was rebuilt according to the last owner in the late 1970s. Lynx created a feature: the entire soft top can be removed and the car can be used as a fully open 4-seater cabriolet without the roof.
It is said to have 50, 000 miles on the clock original.

The last owner, who resided in Spain, acquired this Cabriolet in 1990 and had it converted to left-hand drive by Lynx.
This Jaguar was used only sporadically for dining‑out trips or short journeys. In recent years it has not been moved and was eventually sold to us by a colleague.
The interior is in good condition; the engine, gearbox and chassis require a thorough inspection.
The soft top is no longer in great shape. The Spanish sun makes a replacement roof cover necessary.
All of these costs are reasonable and can be carried out by our specialist workshop under a separate expense allocation.
This is really worth it, after all it’s a Lynx ultra‑rare Jaguar XJ-C Cabriolet in the 4. 2‑litre, 6‑cylinder automatic version.
