FORD CORSAIR DELUXE 1967 1. 7 AUTOMATIC, FOR SALE
I am selling for the cliché reason of I have too many classics, not using them enough and need to let a couple go.
This is a genuine untouched, unwelded, not needing any welding, original specification low mileage car. It has had underbody treatment and been wax oiled before my ownership, in a way that enables the viewer to see the original panels, i. e. not caked in underseal hiding problems.
When I was in the Corsair Owner Club, the founder and accepted expert, looked at the car and confirmed it has all its original panels and standard fittings. As you hear people say ‘it is only original once’.
I have owned it for about 9 years and it has given me no problems of any note. I have done minor fair wear and tear jobs and kept it to original specification. I would be confident to drive it anywhere or distance.
It does have age related marks but that goes with its original untouched finish and 59 years of life.
It is weather (rain) dry, a proper ‘dry’ car.
I have some old MOT’s that verify the low mileage of 41, 000. I am still using it until sold.
I have MOT’d the car most years (all on the DVLA website) and have some old paper records from previous MOT’s. I will be putting it through an MOT before selling. I have a small amount of previous history paperwork to go with the car.
I have spares I may consider including for a hassle free sale with sale price close to asking price.
I strongly recommend that any serious buyer comes and inspects the car for peace of mind. Please do not come and tell me that the car needs a respray or other cosmetic work, this is an original car as it came off the Dagenham production line.
