1997 toyota hiace regius - mpv camper 7seater
For sale 1997 toyota hiace regius 99530miles Japanese import. 12 month MOT Auto
Selling on behalf of my father in law. Who is selling due to lack of use as he is getting older.
Imported in 2016 and owned since then by my farther in law. Used as a weekend vehicle to go on cycling trips.
Van is completely rust free! Unusually for 90s Japanese cars. It has been undersealed at some point i think when it was imported. And held up very nicely since then. Pics of underside shown.
As its imported there are quite cool Japanese stickers still allover the vehicle. However the clocks have all been changed to mph by the importer.
Its on LPG and petrol. Can be switched between by a button. Conversion has been done nicely and been running on this the entire time we have known it. Regularly oiled and serviced by lpg specialists. Can't really tell a difference between the two when its running.
Inside its got captains chairs in the front and second row. The centre section and second row seats slide back and forward and open up to a small table. All seats go flat for a bed. Pop top works and is clean and tidy removable roof section so you can open it up for standing room or sleep up top.
Has air con, curtains close on a button. Rear door opens and closes on a button. Electric windows rear climate controll. Overdrive for the motorway. Drives really nice especially on the motorway.
Bodywork is pretty good it looks tidy. has had paint previously, after scratching the door in a carpark but it looks good and little dink in the bumper after another carpark scuffle, see pic. But for a 29 year old vehicle its in good nic.
Bad bits:
To put it through the mot it needed work on the exhaust. Done by the mot garrage. Receipts in the history. This has made it louder than standard. (I think it sounds nice) but it is different to a standard hiace. The wheels probably need a refurb to make the van look mint.
