A stunning Lotus 6 clone was brought into the country in the late 1980s by a notorious Connecticut Lotus 6 & 7 shop/ dealer. As a result, there are two with the same VIN number in the Lotus 6 registry. This car is powered by a MG 1500, with transmission and rearend also from the same donor.
It is fitted with a fuel cell and fire suppression system. Maintained by GMT Racing (Newtown, CT) for many years and has nice file of work completed. It has previously run in the VSCCA under two different owners, a nicely geared for speed! Also included is an aluminum passenger tonneau, and additional set of rear renders.
Road registered for street or track use and a very fun example!
