1971 MGB Roadster , on UK plates but located in the Algarve, Portugal. Lovely honest car which has factory Overdrive , stainless steel sill covers and Minilite Wheels. Fitted Rollbar which fits snugly under the vinyl roof. Perfect for those endless sweeping backroads in Europe . Mechanical ‘tight’ with good brakes , no oil leaks or any slack in the transmission . Bodywork very presentable with nice red paintwork from original. There is some minor bubbling to the bottom of the door skins and along the bulkhead seams (below the front windscreen) albeit hardly noticeable, however if you’re looking for a concours example this isn’t for you. What you do have is a useable everyday classic capable of either driving back to the UK on an extended road trip or matriculating onto Portuguese Plates .

There’s nothing quite as rewarding as driving this car during my time and residency in Portugal. Its quick off the mark, delightful gear changes with the added extra of overdrive which improves economy and usability . This little baby attracts plenty of admiring glances and waves , I will miss it . Sadly it has to find a new owner due to health issues .
