Description
This is the naturally aspirated 5. 0 engine, not the supercharged. It was never sold in Europe, so the only ones here are imports like this car.
The timing chains, guides and VVT phasers were replaced at Jaguar Land Rover in August 2026. I have the itemised invoice and it comes with the car. The starter motor and a coolant pipe were done at the same time, since the engine was already open.
Carfax: 33 entries, no accidents, main dealer serviced. The main items:
Water pump replaced twice — January 2017 at ~61, 700 mi, then again November 2021 at 89, 193 mi with a full cooling refresh (pump, gasket, oil cooler seals, coolant flush, belts)
Heater control valve, October 2025
Suspension arms upper and lower, and shock absorbers — normal wear
Air suspension converted to coilovers. No struts, no compressor, no valve block.
Work I had done myself, invoices available:
Rear water crossover manifold replaced with the updated part. This is the known weak point on the 5. 0 and it takes the starter with it when it fails. Already done here.
Timing chains
New battery.
TÜV February 2026.
160. 000 km. No codes, no warning lights. It drives properly.
