I bought this AC COBRA PILGRIM in 2015 on a whim, and because of its excellent value for money. This vehicle was imported from England in 2012 by a previous owner and registered as a Rover (donor car). I have a complete service record for the car since that purchase. It has been serviced since my move to the Basque Country in 2017 by BRITAL BITS, a garage specialising in British cars (chassis, axles and other Rovers). I hold a PILGRIM authentication certificate, and the car underwent a thorough inspection by Authentic-Expert in February 2026. Its findings are as follows: “General condition This vehicle is in very good overall presentation condition: o Mechanical components in very good condition. o Suspension and running gear in good condition. o Bodywork and structure in very good condition. o Glazing and lighting in very good condition. o Electrical system in very good condition. o Upholstery, trim and interior coverings in very good condition. o Dashboard in very good condition. Full restoration carried out in 2008 (date to be verified), with engine preparation and significant recent work. Right-hand drive. Registration certificate linked to the donor car (Rover 3500), not matching the vehicle examined: a Pilgrim replica of the AC Cobra.
