Hello, L'atelier des 1000 is offering for sale this Land Rover 88 Series 3 which was registered in 1972.
Mechanically, it is in very good condition.
A basic service has been carried out for the sale, including an engine oil and filter change, gearbox oil change, spark plugs and a brake service. The engine has been replaced by a 5-bearing, which is reputed to be more reliable. It starts easily, with no noise or smoke, and has full power. The exhaust silencer is new and made of stainless steel. The chassis has had sheet metal work carried out, and is in good condition and free from corrosion. The axle end seals have been replaced to ensure a good seal.
The vehicle is fitted with disengageable hubs at the front, which puts less strain on the mechanics in 4X2 operation and reduces the forces in motion. The tyres are in good condition.
The tyres are in good condition, and the brakes have been overhauled, with the wheel cylinders and front and rear brake blocks replaced. A number of rigid hoses have also been replaced. The paintwork is decent and even, the galvas are unpainted and in good condition. The vehicle is supplied with a van roof for €14, 990, although it can also be supplied with a tarpaulin or as a pick-up for €16, 490. The upholstery has been refurbished both at the front and rear, giving a total of 7 seats.
