Descrição
A stylish, high-performance, homogeneous 2+2 coupé from a legendary brand, with a smooth, powerful engine! Initially presented in 1973 under the name DINO (young son of Enzo FERRARI who died in 1956), this fine MARANELLO production was then given the FERRARI name in 1977. Produced in 2826 examples (plus 840 208 GT4s in Italy with a reduced engine capacity), the 308 GT4 was equipped with the new V8 engine that would later be installed in the 308 GTB or the 308 GTS, Tom Magnum's car! Replaced in 1980 by the MONDIAL 8, the flat, angular lines of this rare model were designed by BERTONE (not PININFARINA). The 2926 cm3 V8 16s engine with 4 twin WEBER carburettors develops 255 bhp at 7700 rpm and 284 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. It's smooth, supple and powerful, and also boasts excellent acceleration at low revs, as well as the most pleasant singing acoustics! The 5-speed gearbox, fitted with a ZF self-locking differential, allows a top speed of 250 kph and some very pleasing performance figures (0 to 100 in 6. 2 seconds, for example). The chassis is not to be outdone, skilfully combining handling and comfort, with a high-performance suspension, 4 disc brakes and effective 205/ 70 - 14 tyres. On the road, dynamic tests of this model revealed an excellent overall compromise, undeniable driving comfort and interesting agility, with easy entry into bends and a rear axle that absorbs the power of this brilliant engine placed in a central-rear position! The 4 seats with a monobloc rear bench seat are accompanied by interior stowage compartments, including an attractive glovebox, a small front boot and a deep rear boot with good capacity. Our car was first registered in August 1977 and was delivered by the famous Charles POZZI dealership in Paris, where it was serviced from the outset for several years (roadworthiness and maintenance booklet available). The condition of the vehicle shows that it has been rigorously maintained over the years, and the engine in particular was rebuilt by the great FERRARI specialist Jean-Louis PREHOUBERT in 2015 at 91770 km (less than 3000 km covered since then). Our GT4 has belonged to its current owner since April 2016. He is an enthusiast and also owns several exceptional vehicles. He has had all servicing and maintenance work carried out by leading professionals, notably at the Atelier des Coteaux (02) and Ferrari MADOU (59).
Over the past few years, the car has been serviced, with invoices totalling more than €25, 000, including distribution, ignition circuit and wiring harnesses, starter motor, adjustments and tune-ups, hoses, silent blocks, oil changes, minor bodywork, etc. To date, the 5-digit odometer shows 9, 4150 km: less than 3, 000 km have been covered since purchase. The registration document is normal. An expert report was carried out in November 2024 and confirms the vehicle's very good condition. It is available in the owner's file. As well as a binder containing numerous records and invoices, the logbook and the vehicle manual. This splendid 308 GT4 has been regularly and passionately serviced for many years, and is now completely reliable. It's a high-performance model that's great fun to drive, with excellent roadholding and great consistency. In short, an excellent compromise and ... probably one of the cheapest old Ferraris on the market today. The price we have quoted for our beautiful example is well positioned in relation to the ratings and estimates we have included. The icing on the cake is that last year it was the subject of a full and very flattering report in the specialist press! We invite anyone interested to discover this FERRARI 308 GT4 without delay by contacting VEITURA to arrange a visit with the owner, and of course for further information!
