Description
This Lamborghini Diablo is a rare first series produced in 1991. It was delivered new to France and registered for the first time in March 1991. It was acquired in 1992 by its current owner, a specialist mechanic at the time, who has maintained the car himself since that date. The car is presented today in very good working order, most of the maintenance having been carried out by the owner himself. It now has just under 46, 000 km on the clock. Early in its life, it benefited from the replacement of the clutch system by the Valeo system, an essential improvement well known from the first series of Diablo's. The bodywork is generally homogeneous and faithful to the original, but a few defects are visible throughout the car, testifying to regular use. The interior is original and in very good condition, with no major defects to report. Only the speedometer unit was replaced early in the car's life by the next (lower) version. On the road, the handling is very satisfactory: the V12 starts without difficulty, the gearbox works perfectly and there are no abnormal noises from the running gear. The Lamborghini Diablo first series is one of the last analogue supercars, developed during the Lamborghini era before the arrival of Audi. Equipped with a naturally-aspirated 5. 7-litre V12 and a five-speed manual gearbox, it offers a raw and authentic driving experience. Its design by Marcello Gandini, still faithful to the sharp lines of the Countach, makes it a masterpiece in any collection of Italian sports cars from the 90's.
