The car was therefore ordered as an American version. Its history is known through all the invoices that trace the car's life, from the purchase invoice onwards. Once repatriated to France, the owner trusted us to restore the car to its original configuration: Aquamarine Blue & red leather.
We also took the opportunity to carry out a major engine overhaul and replace the drum brakes with disc brakes.
Appraisal report, Carvertical and Histovec report favourable, Kardex in our possession. The car is registered in France as a collector. History contains invoices for work carried out, available on request. All identification numbers and cold stamping correspond to the original numbers, engine, chassis and gearbox.
Condition: The car is in very good condition. The current owner has chosen to keep as many original parts as possible, so as not to detract from the "original" appearance of this car, which has an almost perfect traceability of the life of this 356. Exterior: The bodywork is perfectly sound and shows no deformation. The car has been repainted in its original colour: Aquamarine Blue (#5707). The paintwork looks very good. The chrome and all the fittings are original. However, there are no deformations.
Interior: Inside, the red leather upholstery is brand new. There are no defects to highlight. The owner chose to keep the original steering wheel, which has a nice patina. All the interior equipment is functional.
Mechanicals: The engine underwent a major overhaul in 2022 in our workshops. It starts very well, with no smoke or suspicious noises. The gearbox works perfectly, shifting smoothly without cracking.
Underpinnings: There are no traces of rust on the underpinnings (anti-corrosion and anti-chip treatment applied), wheel arches or bodywork.
