History: Delivered new to the USA in July 1958, this car spent most of its life overseas before returning to France in 2021.
It is in France, and more precisely in Drôme, within our workshops, that the car underwent almost 2000 hours of restoration.
Expert report, Carvertical and Histovec reports favourable, Kardex in our possession. Car registered in France on a collection registration. The history contains invoices for the works carried out, available on request. All identification numbers and cold stamps correspond to the original ones, engine, chassis, gearbox and openings, which makes it a car fully equipped with its original components, a rare thing!!
Condition:
The term “Nuts & Bolts” speaks to you? This expression denotes a restoration in which not a single screw nor bolt has been spared. This 356 meets that standard. The shell was stripped bare and completely dismantled before reassembly. Nothing was left to chance.
Exterior: The bodywork is perfectly sound and shows no deformation. The car was repainted in its original colour: Ivory (#5704). The paint shows no defects, as do the wheels, the bumpers, and all of the car’s external chrome.
The hood is new.
Interior: Inside, the brown leather upholstery is brand new. There are no defects to note.
Mechanical: The engine has been rebuilt here in full, as has the rest of the car. In order to keep the car in its original configuration, the car remains at 6V.
Underside: No signs of rust to report on the undersides (anti-corrosion and anti-stone-chip coating applied), wheel arches or bodywork.
