Auto-Social – All Good things come in threes

The Godfather, Back to the Future, the original Star Wars. What do all of these film series have in common? Yep, you guessed it, they’re all trilogies. Not to mention they’re all bloody brilliant to boot. Bob Dorough was on to something when he wrote Three is a Magic Number in 1973 and De La Soul were wise to the vibe, sampling it as they did on their 1989 album 3 Feet High and Rising. “The past and the present and the future, the faith and hope and charity, the heart and the brain and the body”, croons Bob, and although “Cirencester, Bishop’s Stortford and Leeds” don’t quite have the same ring we’d still like to add Car & Classic to his list seeing as we’re going for event number three of our assortment of Auto-Social meet-ups.

The Motorist is located on New Lennerton Lane in Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds and is a one stop shop for classic car owners and enthusiasts in the north. In addition to the myriad meet-ups it accommodates it also provides on-site garage facilities that include servicing, MOTs and a bodyshop for full restoration work. Not only that but there is a secure storage facility too and they handle car sales as well. With decades of industry experience The Motorist is highly regarded within the area, as well as the industry in general. Whether you’re looking for a full nut and bolt restoration, a bare metal respray for your classic or more of an ad-hoc rolling restoration the experienced team at the Motorist can help. They have hundreds of restorations and recommissioning jobs under their collective belt, possessing the skills, experience and knowledge to not only meet but exceed your exacting classic vehicle requirements. The beauty of this is that you won’t have far to push your classic should it have a tantrum at the event.

Obviously we hope that there are no hiccups and with a much larger capacity than our previous two get-togethers there promises to be a much larger and broader show of classics this time around, which is only ever a good thing. As always the Car & Classic team will be on site to chat (and potentially help push…) and the first 250 people to sign up for the event can swap their free tickets for a complimentary coffee on the day so click here to register now and guarantee your FREE entry. The date for your diaries is Sunday the 19th of March and not only will it be a larger event it will also be slightly  longer. That’s right, we’ll be at The Motorist from 9am until 2pm. Go big or go home, as they say. Well, go big, then go home, with your thirst for classic metal quenched, new friends made and in a safe and timely manner please. We’ll see you there!
