De donor-motor, versnellingsbak en transferbak waren afkomstig van een andere Range Rover uit 1994 met 89k op de teller; dit is gefotografeerd als bewijs. Vervolgens is de versnellingsbak gereviseerd en opnieuw opgebouwd met nieuw tandwielwerk. De dieselinjector is volledig uit elkaar gehaald en opnieuw opgebouwd. Let op: het knipperen van het waterlampje in de video is een storing met de schakelaar in het expansievat en betekent geen probleem met de motor. Helaas gaan de passagiersruiten niet open, maar dat is gewoon een kleine elektrische kwestie. De stuurbekrachtiging is goed, hij heeft de originele Range Rover-radio die prima werkt, 2 sleutels voor het vergrendelen van de kofferbak en deuren en voor het contact; dus alles origineel. Voorzien van immobiliser en brandstofafsluiting. Terugkomend op zo’n 30 mpg rijdt ze goed als daily classic!
