On offer is this delightful 1956, first registered 1959, MG MGA Roadster in beautiful restored condition, finished in red with tan trim.
Registered new in Middlesex to Mr Barry Hemphill, the car has stayed in the South East with recorded keepers mainly around the Surrey and Middlesex areas.
Apart from the original RF60 registration book, we have very little early history but on purchase in 2018, the current owner embarked upon a full restoration of the car, employing J & C Classic Restorations to carry out the majority of the bodywork and paint. The history file includes many receipts for invoices for this work which was undertaken over a 12 month period. On completion of the body, a full retrim was undertaken as was a thorough overhaul of the mechanical components. As the car was to be used for long distance touring, sensibly, the car was fitted with an 1800cc MGB engine together with an overdrive gearbox, massively improving the useability.
Complete with hood, tonneau cover and sidescreens this example offers outstanding value and is sure to attract admirers wherever it goes. Ideal for local jaunts and longer runs, it is a compelling prospect.
