Opis
A wonderful example of the ever-charming Citroën 2CV, this 1959 ripple bonnet model combines classic early styling with the practicality of the later 602cc engine, delivering improved usability without compromising character.
Finished in a lovely French grey, the body retains a delightful aged patina that speaks to its history, perfectly complemented by a recently fitted oxblood red interior and matching fabric folding roof - both beautifully presented and in superb order. A matching set of Nankang tyres completes the look.
Showing just 66k miles, this 2CV was imported from France in 2020 and has had only one keeper since. It has been lovingly recommissioned, including a brand-new galvanised chassis, ensuring longevity and reliability while maintaining its authentic charm. The result is a nicely sorted, highly usable example that still radiates with classic charm.
Recent works include:
Full service
Replaced alternator
Shock and suspension adjust
Carb replaced with tune up
Plus plenty, plenty more.
Complete with a current MOT (no advisories) and a large history file, this is a 2CV ready to be enjoyed - an ideal companion for weekend adventures or local shows, offering the unique blend of style, simplicity, and joie de vivre that only a ripple bonnet 2CV can deliver.
