Lovely 1976 Triumph Stag, recently treated to some light recommissioning after spending a number of years with only minimal use.
It is now starting, running and driving well and, from what I can see, is a very solid car that presents nicely throughout, with bright, shiny paintwork and a clean, tidy interior. It could easily be improved further with a little time and attention.
In recent years the car has benefited from a new stainless steel exhaust system, new battery, the cylinder heads being removed and skimmed, and new timing chains being fitted.
As with many classic cars of this age, there are a few jobs still to be tackled, but nothing that should detract from using, enjoying and improving the car as you go. The asking price reflects the fact that some further sorting and fettling will be required.
