An Original British registered car (I have extract from the original green log book from 1969 stamped Surrey district council) but having spent most of its life abroad I have service records from 1991 showing the car to have been in Canada. It returned to these shores in 1993 & was owned by a Mr Quinn of London, Service records show the milage as 82482 (Alfaman London 5-10-1993) This is confirmed by the mot. It then passes to Classic car dealers Classic Chrome of London (still in business & remember the car) Who sell it to the next owner Mr Baldwin also of London (April 1994)
mot confirms milage of 82520. The car is returned to Classic Chrome once more to be sold to Mr Scammell Again of London for £9500 showing a milage of 83554.
Mr Scammell enjoy his Italian Classic using Andrew Thogogood Restorations for his servicing. The car was taken of the road for some deserved work in 2000 showing an mot milage of 87264.
This Beautiful Italian rarity has under gone a complete restoration/ refresh this incs Rebuilt Engine, Transmission, Axles, Suspension & fresh paint new hood, carpets, Wheels. We had retained as much original parts as possible i. e. chrome , glass, seats , dash etc . Our remit was to give an old car a new lease of life not build a new car! & as you can see we have achieved this being as true to the original as possible. The current milage is 87264 which after a total rebuild is irrelevant in any case. Its impossible to restore a GTC for the asking price this car car be enjoyed but is also an investment that will increase .
