The Appeal
For the 1976 racing season, Porsche took its formidable 930 Turbo and modified it for FIA Group 4 competition. Its power output was more than doubled by fitting an enormous KKK K36 turbo with a complex water-cooling system. The gearbox was upgraded accordingly, 917-inspired brakes were added, and aggressive aerodynamics were adopted.
This was one serious racing car. Just 31 were ever built.
Campaigned by several privateer teams, the 934 won the European GT Championship and the US Trans-Am Championship, amassing 18 race wins and 11 podium finishes between 1976 and 1981, including the Group 4 GT class at the 1977 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing seventh overall.
This 1976 911 offers enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the thrill of a 934 RSR while maintaining road legality. It's a genuine 930 Turbo that has been comprehensively transformed using period-correct upgraded parts, including an authentic Andial body kit.
Having been in current ownership since 2004, this Swedish-registered example benefits from a recent light restoration and mechanical overhaul. With its motorsport-grade components and professionally built 550hp engine, this is a rare opportunity to acquire something truly unique and utterly magnificent.
