The Appeal
This gorgeous little Midget is a proper labour of love. The vendor built it up from a 1933 chassis that he acquired in 2020 from a specialist. Over two years, he completed the build, including fitting a new ash frame, aluminium panels and a carefully re-upholstered interior with engine-turned dual cowl dashboard.
We love the attention to detail. Then there’s the fact that beneath the tiny bonnet is a potent A Series 1,098cc engine equipped with twin carburettors and a Cooper manifold. The vendor tells us that it has covered few miles since completion, meaning that the buyer gets all the benefit of that work.
Smartly finished in Deep Brunswick Green with that antique tan leather cabin and powder-coated black wire wheels, this is a really pretty and well-kept car. It looks like huge fun too.

Ready to be enjoyed!”

Could you clarify the registration process. The description states that the vehicle was built up from a 1933 chassis obtained from Holland in 2020. Was this a rolling chassis with mechanical parts used during the re-build . The letter from the VSCC quotes numbers from the engine, was this the original MG engine that came with the "Rolling Chassis" . The car is beautiful, please do not think I am being picky but I just want to understand its history. Kind regards James

SellerHello James, The chassis (not even rolling!) came incomplete with an A series engine but this was in poor condition. The engine used for registration purposes was out of my other J2 but subsequently replaced by rebuilt A series 1098 engine which is correctly recorded on the V5c. Cheers, Colin
