The Appeal
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider represents the final and most refined evolution of the celebrated Pininfarina-designed Tipo 101 Giulietta Spider that captivated enthusiasts throughout the 1950s. With its 1.6-litre twin-cam engine and front disc brakes, the Giulia Spider offered a meaningful step forward in both performance and usability, and today it stands as one of the most desirable open-top Alfa Romeos of the era.
This particular example is one of the last 1,875 Giulia Spiders built, manufactured in 1964 and first registered in June 1966. It has been in the current owner's care since 2011, following approximately a decade with the previous keeper. During the current ownership, notable mechanical and structural work has reportedly been carried out, and the car has participated in numerous touring rallies.
History and Paperwork
