The appeal
The first series of the Lancia Fulvia Coupé, with its coachbuilt body by Piero Castagnero and its tight-angle V4 engine with a distinctive character, represents the model in its purest and most sought-after form. The 1.2-litre first-series versions are particularly prized for their light construction and clean lines, before later evolutions changed the car’s personality.
This lovely 1965 example retains its first-series original configuration and is said to have matching numbers, as indicated by its French Carte Grise de Collection. Presented in an elegant white livery with a black leather interior, this Fulvia has benefited from a major restoration carried out around fifteen years ago.
Since it was acquired at the start of 2024, its current owner has embarked on a substantial programme of recommissioning the car mechanically. The vehicle comes with its original Italian paperwork, further strengthening its documented history.
Buyers will note a slight deformation of the front crossmember, clearly visible in the advert photographs. Thanks to its early configuration, its documented history and the significant mechanical investment made recently, this Fulvia Coupé is a particularly tempting opportunity.
