1992 Toyota Supra 2.0 Twin Turbo 1G-GTE GA70 Wide-body
Highlights
Japanese import registered on UK plates in 2022
The 2.0L Twin Turbo engine (1G-GTE) was never sold officially in the UK, USA, or Europe. It was a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) exclusive.
Total Supra production in 1992 was only around 1,193 units worldwide.
Out of those, only a fraction were the GA70 2.0L Twin Turbo wide-body models
Dry stored when not being used for shows
Modified with brand new Tein adjustable coilovers and Malian cat back exhaust
MOT valid to April 2026
The Appeal
The A70 Toyota Supra bridged the gap between the earlier generations and the legendary A80 that followed, and for many enthusiasts hit a bit of an underappreciated sweet spot. With its 2.0-litre inline-six engine, rear-wheel drive layout, and shamelessly nineties silhouette, the A70 has developed a devoted following among JDM enthusiasts that continue to hold the torch in a big way.
This particular example is a Japanese import that was brought to the UK by a Manchester company in 2022 and subsequently registered on UK plates. The current owner has invested in thoughtful modifications including brand new Tein adjustable coilovers and a Malian cat back exhaust system, complemented by an Apexi air filter and upgraded HT leads. It's a hardy example with a clean, solid chassis and plenty of character.
With a valid MOT until April 2026 and paperwork including receipts for service and fitted parts, this handsome Japanese import is now ready and waiting for its lucky new owner. image.png1.41 MB
