The Appeal
While they had dabbled in Targa Tops for quite some time, it wasn't until 1982 that the first 911 Convertible hit the market. It was a huge success with exhilarating top-down driving that was ideal for adrenaline-seeking, well-heeled buyers, and became a fixture for every generation that followed - including the 993, a fabulous example of which we have right here.
This specific example is reportedly one of only 75 right-hand-drive versions in the UK, making it a rare find. The car has been meticulously maintained, as shown by its comprehensive service history with every invoice included. The interior is well-preserved, and the wheels are pristine.
The 993s are often seen as one of the last 'true' 911s, being the last generation to carry the authentic air-cooled H6 powerplant. These are arguably more desirable than ever, and we rarely encounter them with such an extensive paperwork file, in such fine shape.
