The Appeal
The Bentley Arnage R represents the pinnacle of early-2000s British luxury motoring, blending traditional craftsmanship with immense performance. Powered by Bentley’s legendary 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V8, reintroduced after Bentley Motors came under Volkswagen Group ownership, the Arnage R produced around 450bhp and effortless torque, propelling the stately saloon from 0 to 60mph in approximately 5.5 seconds despite its considerable weight. Unlike the more overtly sporting T variant, the R prioritised refinement and comfort, offering a serene, almost limousine-like ride paired with a beautifully appointed interior of hand-stitched leather, polished wood veneers, and deep-pile carpets. With a top speed approaching 170mph and an emphasis on ‘wafting’ acceleration rather than aggression, the Arnage R stands as one of the last truly old-school Bentleys, combining imposing presence, understated performance, and exceptional luxury.
This is an evidently well-maintained example, brought up to a high standard by its current owner. The car has been carefully looked after with significant investment in its upkeep, particularly since 2023. During the previous ownership, it has been serviced and maintained by Colbrook, a respected UK independent specialising in Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles.
Featuring a distinctive colour scheme and a well-documented maintenance record, this example is sure to delight its next owner, whether used sparingly on special occasions, or enjoyed more regularly on long-distance journeys.

Michael••••
Sir, post 2003 cars do not have the head gasket problem that earlier 1999-2003 had. From late 2003 cars onwards this was not a specific concern
StevieG••••

SellerHi Martyn, the discs have not been replaced but the subsequent MOT's they were not an advisory. The advisory is the opinion of the tester on the day it's possible that there was light surface corroision and use cleans up the disc.
