The Appeal
The Abarth 124 Spider Scorpione is a special-edition take on an already charismatic roadster, combining a turbocharged 1.4-litre engine with Abarth's chassis tuning and the rear-wheel-drive platform shared with the Mazda MX-5. With its unmistakably Italian styling and open-top driving thrills, the Scorpione sits at the top of the 124 Spider range and is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
This right-hand drive example, finished in Turini 1975 White, has covered 17,932 miles from new. The vendor describes the car as presenting very well throughout, with bodywork that retains a strong shine and an interior showing minimal wear. With Scorpione editions growing scarcer, this tidy, low-keeper example merits serious consideration.
