The Appeal
The current keeper of this 1965 B bought it with plans to convert it into a track racer. Much of that work has been done and means the buyer gets a running car with many new parts and the option to continue that journey or create a potent road car.
It is an older restoration in red. There is some age to the paint, but it is presentable and solid. Inside there is a set of new seats in smart black and red. The car comes with an aged soft top and useful sebring style fibreglass hard top.
Recent work has included replacing clutch and fuel system components and overhauling the brakes and suspension. It has also been serviced. The vendor tells us that he has put many miles beneath its wheels and it has proved reliable.
This is the sort of B you could buy and jump in and enjoy. Along the way, you could improve it, or perhaps just savour its less shiny and more usable character.
The vendor says:
“A usable classic for the enthusiast. I purchased it with the intention of building a classic race car but a new business venture has taken over.”
