The Appeal
Handsomely proportioned with some smart detailing and charismatic V8 drivetrains, the third generation Camaro is an increasingly desirable machine. While the emissions regulations of the 70s and 80s may have strangled those V8s a bit, they respond very well to some basic modifications, which free up more power and give the burly coupé the kind of performance you’d expect.
This is an example of one such vehicle, benefitting from some choice performance modifications and presented in the desirable IROC-Z trim level. Add to that the lift-out glass targa panels, handsome colour scheme and rarity value – certainly on UK roads – and you have something that really can stop traffic. If you’re after the kind of vehicle that elicits smiles and thumbs up at every turn, while also shaking windows with its mighty V8, then this is for you.
