The CLK ushered in an entirely new market sector when introduced by Mercedes. With E-Class influence design and amenities but a chassis based on the smaller C-Class model, the CLK became the first in what would become a long line of midsize luxury convertibles and what would quickly go on to become of Mercedes most popular model lines. The CLK was naturally well appointed and a solid performer on the road and none more so than when in top flight AMG specification.

With a thunderous 5.4 litre V8 engine at the front and a that same Mercedes build quality everywhere else, the CLK 55 was in no time well appreciated among enthusiasts and today stands as a rapidly appreciating slice of modern classic Mercedes, with demand seemingly on a rapid high among collectors.
This 2003 CLK is a first year second generation CLK, boasting vastly improved modern styling over its forebear. In a suave, timeless factory specification it certainly looks the part and has been exceptionally well preserved through the years, having been recently serviced by a Mercedes Benz specialist.
