The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 2 was launched in 1977. It was visually similar to the Shadow 1 but significant improvements to the front suspension made the handling notably better and rack and pinion steering was fitted. The Shadow was replaced in 1980 by which time over 30, 000 had been built.
This car is a 1978 Silver Shadow 2 in the very attractive colour combination of Willow gold with brown piped leather. It has covered a correct 75, 000 miles from new and has a comprehensive service history, initially from Rolls dealers and more recently from specialists. The last owner nought the car from Hanwells and he owned the car for just over twenty years. The body is in superb order with a virtually flawless paint finish and the interior trim is in superb original condition. As you would expect at this mileage this Shadow runs and drives beautifully.
This Silver Shadow is ready to use and although it is now MOT exempt (and soon to be tax exempt) we will put a fresh MOT on it at the point of sale. Comes with original book-pack including stamped service book and spare keys. Fitted with an immobilizer and trickle charger.
