A rare RHD non sunroof Turbo originally delivered to Brunei in late 1988, it was ordered in Velvet Red, Black Leatherette with Porsche cloth inserts, and specified with the highly desirable MO30 club sport package, (featuring adjustable sports suspension, Bigger front brakes with cooling ducts in the front bumper, and light weight forged Club Sport Design alloy wheel). Other options include a Limited slip differential, Headlamp Wash, upgraded sound system, air conditioning, ABS and headlight adjustment system.
Showing a mere 7004 miles on the clock, and with just two owners in Brunei it is truly a very unique and special example. Supplied with the original book pack; including service book, an original brochure, and price list, and a Porsche Certificate of Production.
The 944 Turbo has sat in the shadows of the 911 for a long time, values have been low, most have been enjoyed, but maintained on a budget and as such very few good examples remain. The 944 Turbo (250hp) was the fastest production car of its day, and it is now beginning to see the recognition it truly deserves. Porsche produced a total of 1333 (ROW) Turbo models for the 89MY, of which only a small percentage were RHD.
