1979 MGB GT
A fantastic value for money mgb gt has just arrived with us this week . Only 80000 recorded miles. This has been in the hands of the previous owner for almost twenty years yet seldom used. The car has recently had a new water pump, full service including new plugs and leads aswell. Starts and runs very well indeed.
Finished in sunburst orange with a contrasting cloth interior. It is a very straight, level, honest car overall. There is no major rot/ corrosion to the body just a few areas where the paint has cracked/ crazed – I have pictured these also, so you can get a good idea of how honest a car this is.
The interior is in super condition, no damage to the trim or nasty saggy seat bolsters like you quite often see, everything is there and the boot carpet is also excellent.
The current MOT is until February 2019. When it was Mot'd earlier this year it failed on a number of items as you may expect having been scarely used! There was welding required which was completed in order for it to pass, it was then re waxoyled also so is very solid – I have included as many pictures as I can of the underside to demonstrate this.
I am in possession of some old bills/ mot's, tax discs and books for the car in terms of history as well as a copy of the old v5. There are key jobs in the history including suspension replacement and replacement fuel tank and sender unit.
