EXTERIOR
The Dolphin Grey Metallic exterior paint is in beautiful condition on this car. The car has a beautiful gloss to the lacquer and the paintwork has an equally beautiful wet-looking depth of shine. The shadow-line trim on the car is in lovely condition and has not discoloured as many examples have done so. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches and it is in wonderful condition for the age. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance.
INTERIOR
The option of leather had been opted for this particular example. The light beige leather is in lovely condition throughout, with minimal wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are all free of wear and have aged very well. The interior is in beautiful original condition and only suffers the slightest of wear from the sunlight. The seat bolsters are in equally as good and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. –A common weakness on E30s.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E30 is powered by the legendary BMW 2. 5-litre six-cylinder unit, mated to the four-speed automatic gearbox –again an optional extra. This results in a silky-smooth drivetrain and this car is no exception. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully. Cruising around with the roof down makes this car a completely different experience, making full opportunity to listen to the throaty straight-six. Kick down works seamlessly when needed, with the automatic gearbox making light work of the operation. The engine bay is wonderfully original, with the original wax coating still present, meaning there is a fresh appearance throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 15-inch BBS cross-spoke alloy wheels are in great condition and are shod in a set of tyres all with good tread.
HISTORY
This E30 325i Cabriolet was first registered in December 1989 and comes with the original service book that is stamped up with 12 stamps and some old MOTs. This car has therefore been maintained properly and this is evident in person. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
