Description
Built late 1967, original colours of British Racing Green with Black interior. Aluminium Silver wire wheels. Very desirable, final production late chassis number car.
The car is currently very complete and represents an ideal opportunity to restore a very original and correct car. As a BJ8 Phase Two model this represents the most desirable 3000, with a 3-litre straight six developing 150HP at 5, 200rpm, a top speed of 125mph and achieving 0-60 in 9. 8 seconds. These variants also gave great refinement over earlier cars with wind-up windows, easy-up ‘pram-style’ hood and superior ride and handling quality owing to revised spring and damping rates.
The vehicle is for sale as a project to be restored by Rawles Motorsport Ltd – the UK’s premium Austin Healey restorer. Cars can be restored to your exacting specification, original or to include our many uniquely developed upgrades should you wish.
