1989 G Austin Mini 30 Limited Edition. This mini was made to celebrate 30 years of the mini. 3000 were made of which 2000 were dark red and 1000 were black. They came with Minilite style wheels, chrome front grill and a lovely interior with red carpets / steering wheel and half leather seats. This example is very special and has lead a sheltered life and has always been garaged covering just 10800 miles in the last 29 years! The car was fully rust protected underneath 13 years ago when it was just on 4000 miles. The body condition is outstanding as is the interior. The interior has been enhanced by a walnut dashboard with additional oil pressure, volts and temperature gauges. The standard 998 engine has been improved by the additional of a Mini Spares stage one tuning kit which includes a free flowing exhaust manifold and exhaust. As a result it pulls well through the gears and sounds great. The handling has been improved by wider 165 Yokohama tyres which make it feel very positive in the corners and stable under braking.
