Hello and welcome to the sale of this lovely little 205 1. 9 GTI, it is in totally original standard specification and unmodified in any way. It has covered 190k miles with a very large and comprehensive history file, the car has been in continuous use since new and has never been off the road and left to deteriorate. This car has been part of my personal collection for the last couple of years, lack of space and plenty of other commitments are the only things requiring me to consider selling. I bought it from a lovely lady who had owned it for twenty years and her mother owned it before her! I have carried out essential maintenance to bring it right up to scratch mechanically, including rear axle beam rebuild, new brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, radiator, hoses, cam belt and much more. The exterior is in good order and polishes up well with some wear and patina as to be expected for the age and mileage, and the interior is a similar story in as that its complete and presentable, and could be improved with some simple trim repairs. The body shell is in very good order for an unrestored car and needs no immediate repairs. The car starts, runs and drives very well and still has a great turn of speed! It has a recent MOT and is ready to drive away and enjoy.
