Description
This 1981 Range Rover Classic is a v8, 3500cc , four speed manual, is the first year Landrover produced the four door.
Having spent the last 15 years in southern Spain when the previous owner retired there from the uk.
It remained English registered as it was used on his own estate.
Upon returning to the uk it has been recommissioned with the following.
New oil and filter. Brakes stripped , carburettors cleaned and new diaphragms fitted. Rear shock absorbers replaced.
Small areas of paint corrosion attended and painted with the correct cellulose colour.( vehicle is in original cellulose paint)
Due to the extreme dry climate the Range Rover has not corroded like others. The sills, inner wings, rear lower tailgate , rear crossmember, doors etc are very good . A couple of areas have been repaired, these being the the rear wheel arches (where the rear door closes to.)
The Range Rover runs and drives very well, with excellent oil pressure and water temperature.
Overall a really good genuine solid example , which has not been modified retaining original factory features.
