1930 Austin 7 Boat Tail Two Seater Tourer
One of the most appealing models of all Austin Sevens must surely be the Boat Tail 2 seater produced from 1929 - 32. Distinctive ‘semi fabric’ styling and a good capacity for luggage along with a price tag of £130 were among the factors that made this model very popular.
This example was restored with a new John Heath body some years ago which culminated in the winning of no fewer than thirteen concours awards - all first and seconds.
Correctly finished in Austin blue/ black, the car now exhibits a pleasing patina overall. The weather equipment is all in very good order, including a tonneau cover and 12 volt electrics with discretely fitted flashing indicators ensure added safety in modern traffic conditions.
